Fire Alarm Systems

Fire alarm systems are for early detection of fire or fire causing elements.  The primary function of a fire alarm is to evacuate the premises.  Combine these features with a monitoring company and the result equals saved lives.  Fire alarm systems, like most technology today, have evolved through many transformations.  Today’s systems incorporate other low voltage systems such as video or access control.  Even more impressive is the fact that today’s fire alarm systems have new technology which can adjust the sensitivity as well as run history reports which can let you know how ‘dirty’ the devices are. All of these features can help our customers maintain and manage their fire alarm systems with less hassle and cost.

Northwestern Ohio Security Systems, Inc. offers a total, complete solution for fire alarm systems.  We have several NICET Level I, NICET Level II, and NICET Level III certified technicians, which allows us to design fire alarm systems from a floor plan to meet NFPA and Ohio Building Code Requirements.  Then, we can take the design and have our CAD department put the actual devices together along with the Battery Calculations and system Riser.  One of our NICET Level III technicians will sign the drawings so we can obtain the permit.  Next, our project management team will take over, along with our fire alarm licensed technicians, to complete the installation.  After the installation is complete, our project manager will conduct the final walk through with the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) so our customer can occupy the building.  Once occupancy is granted our service and monitoring team is only a phone call away and can handle all of your required inspections and monitoring requirements via our U.L. Listed Central Station.
